Just a note…
Hi everyone!
I imagine I must have some very shy readers, as despite having over 400 views this last week, there has only been two entries into the competition!
Shocking!
Anyway, I will be leaving it ‘open’ for one more day and the winner will be chosen at random tomorrow night!
It is only a small prize, but still, surely it’s worth a few words!

It’s all in the name
Merry-almost-christmas!With carol singers now amassing on the green outside, it reminds me that Christmas is literally just around the corner. Whilst I don’t usually get into the Christmas ‘mood’ until a couple of days before the event, it’s at this time of year, I like the festivites to influence my baking.
But more on that tomorrow!
Moving on, I’d like to share this picture of my best friend, Poppy with you all. As I was watching TV, I looked up to see her sitting contemplatively in front of the Christmas tree and I just had to grab my camera.
I also wanted to let you all know that Vegan Kid now has it’s own domain name.
