Merry Christmas!

I almost thought Vegan Kid was going to miss out on the holiday season, but I just couldn’t bear the thought of all my regular and not-so-regular visitors being graced with a rather suspect pumpkin during this month of lights, cheer and indulgence….

I’m afraid that once again, I do not have a recipe for you. However, whilst the flu seems to be overly infectious this year, my blocked nose has not stopped me appreciating the delicious smell of winter spices filling the air. And of course, with appreciation, come inspiration…

Although I haven’t been blogging, I have been amassing my new recipes into a neat little folder which I endeavour to unleash soon enough.

Throughout Christmas eve (yes, Christmas eve – I tend to leave everything until the last minute), I was in the kitchen rolling, mixing, grinding and stirring away, so that I had some things to wrap and put under the tree. Among this, were cookies, turkish delights, truffles and candies. Understandably, by midnight I was feeling a little worse for wear, but by the time my family are sitting, ready to watch yet another depressive episode of Eastenders, I’m sure I’ll be back to my usual buoyant self.

Anyway, despite my prolonged absence, I would like to inform you all that I have just renewed Vegan Kid’s domain for another year. I don’t want anyone to think I’m packing up already – I’m sure I can get away with dragging my ‘Kid’ status out another 5 years or so!

A 25 year old kid? It’s not unheard of…
