Absence makes the heart grow fonder…
It’s always sad to see a restaurant close, but if anyone decided to read a review of this restaurant now, they could be forgiven for thinking that it was not a sorry goodbye. However, I for one, loved this eatery! It was the first vegetarian restaurant I ever visited and it definitely evokes fond memories. The warm and friendly ambience, along with the trendy and unique ‘American-diner’ décor – Eat & Two Veg was a true gem in the heart of London and just a walk away from Regents Park.
Butter Me Down…
Supermarkets are supposedly there to cater for the masses. They offer all sorts of products in order to appeal to the vast number of customers they attract every day, yet not one of them offers a vegan-friendly sandwich. Even Marks & Spencer, one of the leading supermarkets in both “Food-to-go” and ethical consumerism, fail to offer one measly sandwich which is suitable for some of their most ethically concerned customers!
Flippin’ Beets…
I absolutely love pancake day! As a child, I would often find myself eagerly counting down the days, as one would usually do during advent.
But, what a day it is! I don’t think I could name any other internationally recognised holiday, that purely devotes itself to the consumption of pancakes!

As promised…
I’m going to keep this post fairly short. Mainly because I don’t have much to say but also because I’m currently feeling a little lethargic.
But please, do read on…
