Open the Bubbly, We’re Dining Out…

It’s the beginning of National Vegetarian Week in the United Kingdom and if there was ever a perfect opportunity to encourage your friends and family to ditch the ‘drumsticks’ and make the transition to a plant-based lifestyle, it’s now! Even if they only want to honour the meat-free diet until Sunday, it’s still marks a positive step for vegetarians and vegans alike.

Whilst, I highly doubt my family would even attempt the challenge, I will make it my mission to remind them of the occasion and offer an assortment of vegan/vegetarian meal suggestions throughout the week.

April Showers Bring May Flowers…

Surrounded by a sea of golden-yellow rape and basked in rays of sunlight soaring across an azure blue sky. The setting on this particular May weekend (12-13th) was simply picturesque as we made our way across the fields of our hometown.

As a matter of fact, you’d find it hard to believe that just three days prior to this, the skies were completely masked in grey cloud, with winds piercing through us at tremendous speeds.

Lest We Forget…

This post could potentially be a little controversial, but nonetheless, I feel the need to publish it…

This was something I wrote last year, but never got round to publishing and has been sitting in my ‘drafts’ folder ever since (like quite a lot of posts actually). To be honest, I was a little nervous about the response it may get, but now that some of the major animal charities have brought light on this matter, it gives me every reason to reinforce the point!
